Car Detection from Satellite Images for Traffic Analysis

The project aimed to calculate the density of cars in a selected region to support traffic analysis, urban planning, and smart city initiatives. We implemented YOLO, an advanced object detection system, to identify and count cars in urban images. Using the Google API, we processed map tiles for detailed geographical data, pinpointing locations where car density needed to be calculated. The results were visualized on interactive maps using Leaflet.js, making the data easily accessible and understandable.
