AI-powered Football Video Analysis Platform

A system capable of accurately quantifying athletic performance by tracking football players’ movements. Key challenges included: creating a sophisticated system for precise tracking and analysis, handling varying field conditions, and dealing with limited key points in frames with high zoom. We used CNN-based field marking recognition, custom camera calibration, advanced object detection and tracking, and pose estimation to achieve accurate metrics. Despite its complexity, the system was optimized for efficient resource usage and low-resolution environments.
