Kyivstar Launches Cloud Service — Kyivstar Cloud
Ukrainian telecom giant Kyivstar has launched its new cloud service, Kyivstar Cloud, designed for Ukrainian users. The service is available to small, medium, and large businesses, as well as public sector organizations.
“We’re seeing strong demand from businesses for cost-effective solutions. That’s why we’ve created a competitively priced product to help businesses stay flexible and efficient, regardless of their size or industry,” said Illia Polshakov, Director of New Business Development at Kyivstar.
The company believes that Kyivstar Cloud has the potential to serve not only businesses but also to become part of nationwide digital infrastructure solutions, including e-government services, healthcare systems, educational platforms, and more.
What Kyivstar Cloud Offers
- Scalability and customization to suit the needs of both small and large businesses.
- No traffic charges due to local infrastructure hosting.
- Support for hybrid and multi-cloud models — Kyivstar Cloud can be integrated with public and private clouds from other providers such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
- Kyivstar Cloud allows you to create and manage servers, virtual machines, and remote access environments, host CRM, ERP, and other business systems, store company data, deploy or test software, and administer infrastructure independently.
According to Kyivstar, the service is built on Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) servers and includes backup power supply, climate control, fire protection, and technical support provided directly by Kyivstar.
The Infrastructure Behind Kyivstar
Kyivstar Cloud adds to the company’s broad portfolio of digital solutions, reinforcing its position as one of the largest telecom operators in Ukraine.
Kyivstar delivers services using a wide range of mobile and fixed-line technologies, including 4G, Big Data, Cloud Solutions, cybersecurity services, and digital TV. From 2023 to 2027, the company plans to invest $1 billion in the development of next-generation telecom technologies.
According to company data, as of March 2025, Kyivstar serves approximately 22.7 million mobile subscribers and over 1.1 million Home Internet users.
