Google Awards Grants of Up to $100,000 to 30 More Ukrainian Startups
Google has announced the latest group of startups to receive funding from the Google for Startups Ukraine Support Fund. Thirty additional teams have been selected, working in fields such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, education, healthcare, defense tech, and more. Among the grantees are Assisterr, Beholder, Datrics, Deus Robotics, Himera, and others.
Each startup will receive up to $100,000 in equity-free funding, along with mentorship from Google and access to Google products. Additionally, startups can apply for up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits.
Startups selected for Google for Startups Ukraine Support Grants
- Advizor: A cloud-based hardware and software solution to reduce energy consumption and increase efficiency in commercial and industrial real estate.
- Assisterr: A network of specialized small language models (SLMs).
- AVS: An online platform for professional support and upskilling of accountants.
- Beholder: AI-powered technology for detecting and extracting energy resources.
- CheckEye: AI-based solution for early diagnosis of chronic diseases.
- Chessed.me: A digital platform that boosts children’s focus and cognitive skills through personalized chess lessons with instructors.
- ChordChord: A music assistant that helps musicians and producers create, refine, and complete tracks more efficiently.
- Curify: A platform that accelerates patient recruitment for clinical trials, simplifying search and participation.
- Datrics: AI-powered conversational analytics for instant business insights from data.
- Deeployalty: A digital platform for banks and retailers to attract and monetize customers by integrating loyalty programs, cashback, and e-receipts into banking apps.
- Deus Robotics: A flexible robotic automation system that integrates and enhances robots of any brand for optimized warehouse operations.
- eKidz.eu: An app that makes literacy and language learning easy and accessible for every child.
- Fintellect: A financial AI copilot for service-based businesses.
- Getpin: An AI-powered platform that helps businesses improve their online presence, manage reviews, and increase sales.
- Haiqu: Software for enhancing quantum computer efficiency and enabling practical applications.
- HIMERA: An innovative adaptive communication system for both civilian and specialized users in complex environments.
- ITFin: A unified system for optimizing all business processes.
- Knowledgator: An open-source ML solution for transforming unstructured data into actionable knowledge.
- Mawi: A continuous blood pressure monitoring system.
- Mosqitter: Eco-friendly innovations to combat harmful insects.
- Nanit Robot: An online robotics academy.
- Oboard.io: An OKR platform that helps teams and organizations set and achieve clear, measurable goals.
- OpenMinds: A cognitive security startup countering authoritarian influence and propaganda.
- Ovul.AI: AI-powered hormone tracking technology based on saliva analysis.
- PromoRepublic: A marketing platform for franchises and multi-location businesses.
- UpLife: A mental health companion app with CBT-based therapy and interactive tools.
- V-Art: A B2B solution for optimizing licensing of data for brands and AI.
- xTiles: A visual, all-in-one workspace for personal and team use.
- Zibra AI: An AI-based platform for generating special effects and 3D content for games, TV, film, and more.
- ZVOOK: A platform for acoustic diagnostics.
About the program
The Google for Startups Ukraine Support Fund totals $10 million and is administered by Ukrainian startup accelerator 1991.
The previous batch of grant recipients was announced in September 2024, supporting 24 startups, including Ability.ai, Jetbeep, Mantis Analytics, Pibox, and others. Nine more startups received grants in June 2024.
According to Google’s press release, the 33 startups from the June and September 2024 cohorts used the funding and support to scale their businesses and achieve tangible results. For example: Clearly, a mental health support platform, entered new international markets. LetsData, a cybersecurity startup, raised an additional $1.6 million in funding. Spendbase and Ability.ai were listed among Ukraine’s 25 most promising startups by Forbes Ukraine, considered potential unicorns by 2030. Four current cohort members — Assisterr, Beholder, Getpin, and Haiqu — also made the list.
