Web & Mobile App for Car Inspection Company
Consequently, after we helped the client to reveal a competitive for the US market idea we split the project into two stages.
1️⃣ First stage:
A mobile application built with React Native for two roles:
👨💼 Consumers, where they can request an inspection of their car, pay for that, and get a detailed report in the end.
🕵️♂️ Inspectors, where they see their own schedule, address, and where they inspect with the related to necessitated vehicle type checklist (created in the admin panel).
And an admin panel built in NodeJS and ReactJS, where the client can manage inspectors and consumers, create inspection templates (step-by-step walkthrough checklist), and subsidiary functionality.
2️⃣ Second stage:
Create a marketplace on the web and add functionality to the mobile application.
Here in Join.To.IT we are strong believers that outsourcing companies should be consultants at first and developers second. This project is one more confirmation as we prevent the client to not lose money on the wrong concept and helped to create a much more competitive service.
Initially, the client wanted to build up a marketplace for selling and buying cars. After our analysis, it appeared that the US market is full of such kind of services and we started to pivot the idea. The client also owns a car inspection company. In a few weeks, the project has been changed completely from the initial point.
New tasks that we discussed with the client become:
✔️ Create a mobile application for inspectors and customers;
✔️ Design an admin panel for creating templates and different settings to simplify the process of inspecting cars;
✔️ Build a beautiful website for the marketplace with inspected and estimated automobiles (the service should give a kind of guarantee that the car fits some quality depends on inspection results).
We integrated the following services:
💸 Stripe (Payment system)
💰 PayPal (Payment system)
🏎️ VIN checker API 📧 Mailchimp (Email service)
💬 Twilio (SMS service)
🔔 OneSignal (Push notifications for the mobile app)
Besides, we have developed a real-time chat on sockets for support purposes.
