Creo: development of a seamless online edtech platform (LMS)
About the client
Our client is an education specialist who specializes in creating courses for artists. He experimented with a number of systems but discovered that none provided the gamification features, integrations, or usability he had in mind.
From the start, he played an active role — not just as a client, but as a co-creator. Together, we shaped an idea into a working product.

Challenge
We set out to create a lean but complete LMS that meets modern standards for both learners and course creators. A key part of the vision: integrated gamification.
That’s how “CREO” was born — a new startup built from scratch. We concentrated on constructing intelligently, closely scoping, and providing a seamless, integrated user experience because we had just four months to launch the MVP.
Response
Yeah, that’s a pretty comprehensive task with a raw starting point, but we began by strategizing the implementation, researching the market, proposing new features, and scoping the project.
We first concentrated on an MVP, a version that satisfied the fundamental requirements of administrators and students, given the magnitude. While administrators needed basic capabilities to publish and manage content, students wanted a seamless course-taking experience.
Solution for CREO
1. Building an MVP for CREO
The original CREO version took our team four months to create. Among the most important LMS features were course creation and an integrated marketplace for premium material. Because of the user-friendly interface, students could easily blend courses and materials to construct learning paths.

2. Further development plan
Following the MVP’s release, we collected input from the client and early adopters, examined the most well-liked aspects, and identified areas that need improvement. We created a clear strategy for the next stage of growth based on these findings and our goal to add noteworthy capabilities.

Innovations
We added a number of clever, user-driven features to the platform to increase its effect and level of engagement:
1.
Systems of payment
We gave users additional convenient and straightforward payment options, by integrating Stripe, PayPal, and Wayforpay
2. Educational tools
We introduced testing modules, planners, and visual aids to facilitate systematic learning, which clarified and organized the study process.
3. Gamification
Modern education isn’t about boring rote memorization. We’ve personalized the experience by introducing characters. You can choose your avatar, earn daily rewards, level up, and track your progress with a dynamic progress bar. It’s all about engagement. On the platform, you can earn Creoins – a fictional currency – to spend in the gift store. With a leaderboard feature, you can interact and compete with others, making learning more exciting and interactive.
4. Integration of AI
Our target audience is creatives who constantly seek out cutting-edge solutions. During our work on the project, ChatGPT was released. We quickly embraced this trend and integrated it into our platform, resulting in an unparalleled tool that channels and amplifies the creative energy of our students.
5. Analytics and dashboards
We created user-friendly dashboards with visible data, such as student progress and course success, in one location to assist course authors in managing growth.
Impact
What started as a custom B2C project quickly proved scalable. We turned it into a SaaS platform that other education-focused businesses can use out of the box.
With white-label capabilities, each client gets a unique subdomain, custom branding (if needed), a dedicated admin panel, and a personalized student space — everything needed to run their own course platform. Now, it’s not just a product. It’s a business solution.

Result
Today, the platform supports over 35,000 students and is used by 40+ clients as a SaaS solution — from large retail chains to niche ventures like meditation courses.
We continuously gather user feedback to encourage rapid adjustments. This iterative method has already raised course completion rates from 35% to 65%, which is much higher than the industry average of 13% (according to SupplyGem).
Beyond enhancing the platform’s educational features, we’re making CREO a self-sufficient product. We’re creating more opportunities for teachers and expanding marketing and sales functionalities. This ensures our clients receive a complete solution, allowing them to focus on developing their educational projects without worrying about lead generation or promotion.Vitalii ValkovCEO at CREO

Where are we now
After launching the MVP, the team joined the Genezis & Meta StartUp Academy 2.0 and made it into the Top 30 out of 3,000 startups.

Throughout the project, Goodface was deeply involved — shaping not only the product but the business vision behind it. Impressed by the collaboration, the client invited us to become long-term partners.
We’ve created something truly special, and our audience loves it. Now, Goodface and CREO are teaming up as partners, developing and scaling the project together. We’re seeing strong demand and have plans to expand into new countries. Stay tuned – there’s much more to come!Max YakubovychCEO at Goodface
