11 Startups Raise Over $2.8M in Investments at IT Arena 2025
On September 27, at IT Arena 2025, the startups that received a total of around $3 million were announced. Most are defense startups, while one remains undisclosed.
In total, the Startup Competition 2025 investment fund reached a record $15 million in soft commitments.
This year’s investor lineup included prominent venture funds, firms, and angel networks such as 1991 VC, United Angels Network, Vesna Capital, Presto Tech Horizons, Tilia Impact Ventures, Depo Ventures, Radix VC, PurposeTech VC, Rockaway Ventures, Double Tap Investments, MITS Capital, Green Flag Ventures, NextFrontier Fund, and Wolver Ventures.
Who received funding:
- Bravo Dynamics — $125,000 from United Angels Network
- MITS Capital invested a total of $1 million across five startups:
- $200,000 – Blue Arrow
- $200,000 – Stozhar
- $200,000 – SlimBeam
- $200,000 – DroneMate
- $200,000 – Zmiyar
- Depo Ventures — $250,000 in A42
- Wolver Ventures and NextFrontier Fund — €200,000 each (about $235,000) across four startups:
- Bravo Dynamics
- Zmiyar
- Strug
- BabAI
- Double Tap Investments backed DroneMate, Strug, and Barvinok-5, though the investment amounts were not disclosed.
- 1991 Ventures (Ukrainian-British) — a $500,000 soft commitment to an undisclosed company. UPDATE: The firm clarified to Scroll.media that it is still in discussions with several startups and has not made a final investment yet.
In addition, IT Arena 2025 announced the winners of the Startup Competition in two categories — general and defense tech — who shared a $60,000 prize pool.
- General category winners: Ovul, Heft, StackBob
- Defense tech winners: Dwarf Engineering, BabAI, Bravo Dynamics
