Ukrainian Tech Marketplace CodeUA Wins International A’ Design Award

The Ukrainian tech marketplace CodeUA has received international recognition in the field of design, winning an A’ Design Award and making the shortlist for the prestigious Webby Awards. CodeUA is a platform created through a joint effort by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Lviv IT Cluster, in collaboration with Ukrainian tech company Linkup Studio.

A’ Design Award & Competition

CodeUA received the Silver Award in the Website and Web Design category at the A’ Design Award & Competition — one of the world’s most prestigious design competitions. Each year, the award honors the best in global design, from website interfaces to architectural projects.

Winners are selected by an international jury of over 200 designers, academics, journalists, and entrepreneurs. CodeUA was praised for its modern, intuitive interface and strong visual identity.

“Our goal wasn’t just to build a beautiful site — we aimed to create a platform that reflects the value of Ukraine’s IT and business community. With CodeUA, we wanted to show that design is not only about aesthetics, but also a strategic tool that builds trust, structures complex content, and creates a systematic experience.

We shaped the product to feel like a living organism that conveys strength, transparency, and order. We deliberately avoided visual noise in favor of clarity and a rhythmic balance between form and function.

Webby Awards 2025

Another mark of international recognition came when CodeUA was nominated for the 29th Webby Awards — one of the most prestigious honors in the digital world, often referred to as the “Oscars of the Internet.” The Webby Awards receive thousands of entries annually from over 70 countries across a wide range of categories, from websites and advertising to AI products and podcasts. Past winners include major global players like Google, Apple, Pinterest, Spotify, and NASA.

CodeUA was selected as one of the top five finalists in the category Websites and Mobile Sites – Employment.

They’re creating solutions used daily by millions of people around the globe and are collaborating with top-tier global companies such as Ryanair, Cisco, Motorola, Volvo, and Volkswagen.
