The Projects Functionality for Companies

How to Search for Projects, Submit Applications, and Manage Invitations

This guide provides an overview of the new features on the CodeUA platform, enabling you to effortlessly find projects that align with your interests, submit applications for selected projects and review your invitations from platform clients.

Project Search

To start searching for projects on the platform, click the “Find Project” button in the top menu.

After that, the search menu will open, where you can filter results by the following parameters:

  • Deadlines
  • Budget
  • Required team size
  • Services
  • Technical stacks

You can also browse projects and add them to the “Saved” list.


For more detailed information about a project, click the “View Project” button.

This will take you to the “Overview” tab, where all key information about the selected project is displayed.

If you are interested in the project and want to apply, go to the “Application” tab.

Submitting Project Applications

If you have found a project that interests you, you can submit an application to the client.
To do this, open the “Application” tab in the selected project.

This will open an application form where you need to provide the following information:

  • Collaboration model: hourly rate or fixed budget.
  • Proposed price/budget.
  • Timeline.
  • Scope of work: a list of key deliverables or tasks you plan to complete within the specified timeframe (e.g., designs, prototypes, features).

Application message: a concise and compelling message explaining why your company is the best fit for this project. Keep the text brief and to the point, as we value everyone’s time.

If necessary, you can attach additional documents to help the client better understand your vision.

For more detailed discussions about the project, you can start a conversation with the client directly within the selected project.

Once you’ve completed the form, click the “Submit an Application” button.

Please note: Submitting an application will deduct 1 Application Credit.

Each week, you are provided with 10 Application Credits, which renew automatically.

After submission, your application will receive the status “Application in Review” and will be sent to the client for consideration.

My Projects

In the “My Projects” section, you can view active projects, invitations from platform clients, submitted applications, saved projects, and completed projects.

This section is divided into five tabs:

“Ongoing” — all active projects.

“Invitations” — invitations from platform clients.

“Applications” — applications submitted by the company.

“Saved” — saved projects.

“Completed” — completed projects.

Canceling Applications

To cancel an application, go to the “My Projects” section, find the desired application, click the three-dot icon next to it, and select the “Cancel Application” option.

Then, choose the reason for cancellation and confirm your action.

If you need to cancel an active project, click the three-dot icon next to it and select the “Terminate Project” option.

Then, enter the word “TERMINATE” to confirm your action.

Leave a Review

After completing a project, you can leave feedback about your collaboration with the client on the project page.

Review includes:

  • A rating of the collaboration on a five-point scale (from 1 to 5).
  • A text comment sharing your impressions.

Your review will become visible in the client’s profile once they also leave their review about collaborating with you.

Important! You have 10 days to leave a review. After this period, feedback about your collaboration will appear on your profile, but the client will not receive any feedback from you.
