Oppenheimer Acceleration Invests in Ukrainian Startup PanoptesAI

The Ukrainian-American fund Oppenheimer Acceleration has invested in the Ukrainian startup PanoptesAI, reports Forbes.

PanoptesAI is developing an AI system that integrates stationary, mobile, and aerial electro-optical stations, as well as electronic intelligence modules, into a mesh network. “Using artificial intelligence, it identifies, tracks, and predicts the flight trajectories of objects,” says Alexander Soroka, Co-founder of Oppenheimer Acceleration.The investment was made as part of the first acceleration program by Oppenheimer Acceleration.The startup will receive $125,000: an initial $25,000 and an additional $100,000 during the program.

Alongside the Ukrainian startup, the American project Sierra Turbines also received funding. Sierra Turbines develops engines that can be used in rockets and long-range drones. The investment terms are the same.

In total, Oppenheimer Acceleration plans to invest up to $2 million in the first cohort of startups. Previously, the fund invested in the startups MARA, Bavovna.AI, and Swarmer.
