Challenge

The startup was founded by logistics professionals who wanted to connect shippers and carriers directly. The envisaged solution would further streamline activities needed to book, coordinate, and monitor less-than-truck shipments. The customer envisioned a transportation management system that would allow customers to schedule shipments, manage their orders, and bargain for the best rates on their less-than-truckload supplies.

Solution

The development team started working on the project from scratch. It developed and deployed the MVP of client portal after six months of development start. Carrier portal was ready nine months after project kick off. The team ensured to meet both approaching deadline and an efficient, flexible software architecture. The team managed to integrate successfully different third-party APIs to boost development process.

Results

The team delivered a Web solution from scratch, helping the startup validate its business idea. The number of operations started growing soon. The startup received funding in several rounds. The development team focused on cloud transition for greater scalability. The client reached multiple shipments soon after product launch. The client received further funding via Crunchbase for product expansion.
