TaskRunner — online platform for ordering services

Challenge:
Redesign the existing platform, which connects people needing services with those who provide them.

Solution:
After a detailed project audit and an evaluation of the costs and risks of redesigning, it was decided to recreate the project from scratch using the most advanced modern technologies.

The platform was developed to include:
– A mobile app for Posters (available on both iOS and Android),
– A mobile app for Runners (also for iOS and Android),
– A web-based Admin Panel.

The new system was implemented using the Symfony framework, with PostgreSQL as the DBMS. Additionally, several utilities were created to facilitate data transfer from Microsoft SQL Server to PostgreSQL.

Result:
All system components were redesigned from scratch, significantly improving the product’s operational stability, speed, and ease of use for both the app and the Admin Panel. Importantly, all users were retained during the app redesign process.
