Ping Proxies

About the client

Ping Proxies is a technological startup from the United Kingdom, which provides advanced SaaS solutions for managing proxy servers.

Challenge

The CEO of Ping Proxies applied to us. He already had a working SaaS product, but it appeared somewhat outdated. As we got deeper into the project, it naturally unfolded into three distinct redesigns: the web app, the website, and the brand identity.

He sought a modern design refresh and a complete overhaul of the user experience (UX), particularly to enhance the presentation of server statistics via a dashboard — a crucial feature (Ping users to monitor how proxy servers contribute to their businesses).

Our comprehensive approach demanded pixel-perfect precision on the Frontend. Smooth teamwork between design and development was crucial to ensure every detail clicked into place.

Another big thing was making sure users could easily tell the difference between the services, since they’re all about managing the service but work a bit differently. This is where smart UX and clear visuals needed to come through.

Team squad

  • Project Manager;
  • UX/UI designer;
  • Graphic designer;
  • Design lead;
  • Frontend developer;
  • QA.

Solution

We set out to redesign three key pieces: the web app, the website, and the brand identity.

Discovery

We started with a discovery stage, where we conducted research, crafted wireframes for the product and website, sought visual style, and created detailed user flow.

Design

Logo & brand identity design

It all started with finding a completely new visual strategy, rebranding the logo, fine-tuning the colors, and optioning for more modern, clean shapes and fonts to match.

Staying on that ground we went for crafting design concepts to define how the new site and web app interface would look like.

SaaS and dashboard redesign

Working on the structure we tackled the website and web application interface, paying maximum attention to the dashboard — the core element. The aim was consistency — ensure users could instantly recognize they’re within the Ping Proxies ecosystem, whether they interact with the app or browse the site.

Website redesign

After approving the new visual system we moved on to build the new web app interface and design the website.

We crafted unique landing pages for various products and solutions, adding custom illustrations and animations to bring the content to life and make it easier to understand. The website now includes a blog for expert articles, enhancing SEO performance. And we didn’t forget one more crucial step: a dedicated stage for site performance optimization.

 SaaS and website development

A seamless collaboration between the designer and Frontend specialist was essential to deliver a flawless result for the client. That’s why we brought in our trusted design-frontend tandem.

For the Frontend, we used Strapi, based on Node.js — the ideal tech stack for our needs. The backend was expertly managed by the client’s internal team.

At this stage, we productively communicated with the client’s tech team. It means working not only with the visual part but also dealing with logical functional questions. The communication was fast, honest, and clear, we all had a common goal and were deeply involved in a process. That’s the best way to build an effective solution.

For the website, we built a flexible CMS and created additional marketing materials, giving the Ping Proxies team everything they needed for external promotions.

Result

The client now has a powerful SaaS with smooth Frontend performance and robust functionality.

We also developed a cutting-edge, user-friendly website, which attracts the audience and looks progressive among the competitors. And yeah, there’s a lot of space for various activities, like posting different articles on a blog.

All of this is tied together with a new identity that enhances usability and aligns the UI with modern design trends.

Next up, we’re planning to develop even more convenient proxy server management solutions for users.

It was an exciting workflow, thanks to perfect communication with a client. We’re happy with his involment and desire to make standing-apart products. And we’re happy, that this one came out exactly that way. Testimonials from existing users after launch speak volumes — they’re thrilled with the product’s fresh new look.
