PayAtlas: website development, platform interface, branding and logo for the global catalog of payment providers 

About the client

PayAtlas is a global directory of payment providers for online businesses and payment professionals.
 

Challenge

We aimed to create a logotype, design a visual identity, and website development, and design a catalog of payment service providers.

The catch was that the logo needed to align with fintech traditions while standing out from the typical fintech look.

The next challenge was to create a technological website that would attract the attention of potential customers. There also needed to be the possibility of registration, onboarding, and selection of a payment provider for yourself.

Another layer of work was the creation of a convenient catalog for the selection of a payment provider.

Solution

Our team started with design research, where we found out what features of fintech design already included. Then we presented three logo and brand identity concepts, sparking a lively debate among the client’s team, ultimately landing on a simple yet unconventional logo.

Dark design theme

We also decided to choose a dark design theme, aimed to evoke the feeling of space, positioning PayAtlas as a guiding landmark in the universe of payment providers.

Goodface team developed a dynamic website, with lots of custom illustrations and motion design targeted at a savvy B2B audience.

To nail the UX/UI design, we dove into UX research, charted user flow, laid out wireframes, and created the marketplace design concept.

We future-proofed the design system making it scalable to accommodate business growth.

Result

The client received a complete design system: visual identity, website, and marketplace design.

It has become a working tool for converting potential customers and collecting applications.

By the way, the website got CSS Awards in Best UI Design, Best UX Design, and Best Innovation nominations.
