Roomful – 3D Exhibition and Conference Platform

This Project Is:

A versatile 3D platform designed to host virtual expos, conferences, museums, art galleries, and more, offering an immersive space for any event you can imagine. With cutting-edge Unity technologies, Roomful delivers high-end 3D graphics that run seamlessly on both browsers and smartphones.

Challenge: 

The challenge was to create a modular application architecture that could be configured for various use cases — from art exhibitions to business conferences—while maintaining high-quality WebGL visuals. The platform needed to support dynamically generated environments that could be tailored to the specific needs of each event, as well as social features to enable user collaboration and interaction. Ensuring smooth integration of video calls, screen sharing, and avatar customization was also critical.

What We Implemented:

→ Modular Architecture: Designed a flexible and modular system that allows for easy customization and configuration for different event types, such as expos, galleries, malls, and apartments.

→ Dynamic Environment Creation: Developed a platform capable of dynamically generating 3D environments to suit each event’s unique requirements, with a focus on performance and high-quality visuals in WebGL.

→ Social Features: Integrated social elements, including personal avatars, in-event chat, video calls, and screen sharing to foster user interaction and collaboration.

→ 3D Object Creation: Enabled users to create and add unique 3D objects to their events, enhancing customization and user engagement.

Results:

Roomful successfully hosted a wide variety of virtual events, including conferences, expos, and art galleries. The platform allowed users to set up personal avatars, chat, collaborate, and engage through video calls and screen sharing. Its dynamic environment creation and 3D object customization capabilities opened the door for users to craft personalized spaces.
