Fashion Marketplace with Digital Wardropbes

Overview

Gettstyle.com is an innovative platform that combines fashion, digital wardrobe management and personal styling services. It allows users to digitise their wardrobe, receive clothing styling advice and access a marketplace of sustainable Ukrainian brands. Users can also resell items, optimise their spending and receive personal recommendations from stylists. One of the primary challenges was to enable users to digitize their physical wardrobes seamlessly. This required creating a tool that could efficiently handle diverse clothing items, remove backgrounds from photos, and organize them in a user-friendly interface. Fashion and style are highly personal, and offering personalized recommendations required deep understanding of user preferences and needs.


Solution

We developed an intuitive platform with advanced image recognition and background removal technology. The user interface has been designed to be simple and accessible, allowing users to easily upload and manage their wardrobe. A detailed onboarding process with user surveys about body type, lifestyle, and preferences was implemented. This data was leveraged to offer tailored styling advice and recommendations from in-house stylists. Users benefit from an organized digital wardrobe, personalized styling, and access to eco-friendly fashion, while the platform supports a shift toward conscious consumption.

Discovery Stage

During the Planning and Discovery stage, our team collaborated with stackholders to define the product vision, key features, and user needs. The development process began with the client providing a fully prepared project UX/UI Design. Our challenge was to translate the client’s vision into a functional, high-performance platform, and to add value through technical refinements and strategic enhancements.

Admins have full control over platform operations, including user account management and the ability to send custom notifications via email or in-app messages. Stylists, on the other hand, can manage schedules, service offerings, and client interactions through dedicated dashboards optimized for their specific needs.

Stylist Service Workflow

The service workflow is designed to foster collaboration between stylists and their clients. Integration with local brands

The platform connects stylists with local brands, allowing them to sell directly through the marketplace. Stylists can recommend or bundle products with their services, promoting local businesses and expanding their revenue streams. This integration supports a dynamic ecosystem where customers can conveniently purchase high quality products recommended by stylists.

Order Management

The platform offers a comprehensive order management system that tracks both service bookings and product sales. This system ensures that stylists and marketplace vendors can monitor and fulfill orders efficiently, streamlining operations and improving customer satisfaction.

Background Removal Plugin

This allows users to remove the background from images, allowing them to upload personal wardrobe items. Customers can then use these images to create virtual wardrobes and outfits right on the platform. This innovative feature increases engagement by offering an interactive and personalised styling experience.

Custom Notification System

Administrators can create personalized notifications tailored to specific user activities. These notifications, sent via email or within the platform, keep users informed about updates, promotions, or important announcements. This feature enhances engagement and ensures timely communication with users.

Scalable Architecture

The platform was built with scalability in mind, ensuring it could handle increasing user volumes and incorporate future features with minimal disruption.

Payment Gateway Integration

Secure and seamless payment processing was implemented, offering multiple options for transactions, including credit cards, Apple and Google pay.
