Effortel is a Belgium-born global Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) and Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE) with over 15 years of experience. Trusted by top-tier clients across 8 countries, the company has successfully launched 14 MVNOs, focusing on deploying, integrating, and scaling BSS/OSS platforms.

Challenges

Effortel sought to revolutionize its MVNO Business Support System (BSS) by leveraging modern software solutions. The goal was to create an innovative platform capable of maximizing efficiency, flexibility, and scalability for businesses. To achieve this, Effortel partnered with JEVERA as one of several development teams working simultaneously to build a next-generation MVNO BSS. The project required seamless integration of diverse functionalities, a robust architecture, and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of MVNOs in multiple markets.

Provided Solution

JEVERA played a critical role in designing and developing key components of the Telco BSS platform, handling both front-end and back-end development.

The first phase involved building a server-based Business Application Orchestrator (BAO). This core component was designed to manage third-party SOAP data, translate it into native mobile suite data, authenticate users, establish specific channels, and orchestrate flows efficiently.

The second phase focused on creating adaptors and converters for API calls based on the BAO. These components ensured seamless migration to updated product versions, added flexibility for enabling or disabling features, and supported the inclusion of new functionalities.

The JEVERA team prioritized synchronization, dependency resolution, and delivery alignment throughout the project. Despite external challenges such as war and power outages, the team met deadlines, delivering a high-quality solution on time.

Key Functionality

  1. Post-Paid Subscriptions: Developed a scalable, flexible, and real-time post-paid billing system unique to the MVNO BSS market.
  2. Traffic Management: Built modules for collecting, aggregating, and analyzing traffic data to generate accurate customer invoices.
  3. Dunning and Collection: Implemented tools to track overdue billing accounts, send reminders, apply penalties, and manage subscription terminations.

Achieved Results

The innovative mobile platform for MVNO creation was successfully deployed for telecommunications, banking, and retail clients across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Pacific region. This solution has significantly reduced the cost of launching MVNOs and accelerated time-to-market for businesses, enabling Effortel to maintain its competitive edge and extend its reach in the global telecom industry.
