Air Alert — An App for Critical Notifications in Ukraine

Challenge:
To create an application that alerts people to danger, even at night, and works with the phone in silent or Do Not Disturb mode.

Solution:
The first versions of the application were developed within a few days in collaboration with the Ajax team and with support from the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. The development process, from identifying the need to the initial release, was completed in just one day (on the 4th day of the war).

Result:
The app was fully developed in two days and is now used by over 11 million Ukrainians. This is a unique example of building a critical infrastructure product that saves lives in war conditions and has no equivalent.
